The Grand River Mosquito Control District provides the essential services of mosquito surveillance, inspections, and implementing control measures to reduce the spread of mosquito-transmitted diseases, such as West Nile Virus. We suppress mosquito populations, within the boundaries of the district, and in an environmentally responsible manner. Our crews monitor both larval and adult mosquito populations; to organize the population statistics, to evaluate organizational efforts, and to plan subsequent control strategies.
