Always Dependable Exterminating Of Hampton Roads Newportnews
Nightmare dont believe reports
“Always Dependable of Hampton Roads Exterminating September 26, 2013\nTrent\nIm writing in reference to the termite damage repairs that Always Dependable failed to complete. On September 19th I emailed you this letter requesting an answer in 10 days. I am mailing this via Certified Mail to ensure your receipt. The name of your insurance company is expected within one week of this letter.\nWe have given you ample time to bring this to resolution. We requested the information for your insurance company so we could make a claim. Since you refused we allowed you to attempt to rectify the matter. You advised us that the only way the repairs could be completed under our contract was to use the contractor that you provided, Doug Ghormley. We had several concerns with him. We inquired if he was skilled to handle the structural repair that was needed and if an inspector should look at it. We were told no. We asked repeatedly for his contractors license and insurance from both your company and the contractor. We were given excuses such as he forgot it and eventually that he had accidently washed it so it could not be produced. He stated it would take several weeks to get a replacement. We confirmed with the state he was not licensed. At that time we advised him that he would not be allowed back to complete the work since he did not meet the state requirements.\nWe have had no use of the room for several months while you affected repairs without a license.\nI caught your contractor not completing the entire scope of repair. At that time your contractor advised us that you had directed him to keep the repairs under the $1000.00 deductible so that you would have no financial liability. You stated that we are responsible for the termite damage above a certain height and you were trying to help us out by doing less than was needed to fix the problem? The damage that you stated we were responsible was not a substantiated claim. Trent and I later discussed the situation at my house and he agreed that the repairs would be covered.\nDespite this the contractor provided a bogus breakdown to have us cover the cost. This included gas to pick up materials, which is ridiculous.\nWe are not confident that the repairs that were done meet code. The contractor was not even capable of purchasing the correct materials. He bought molding that did not match the rest of the room. This situation has caused us to have limited use of our home. We do not trust your direction in this matter.” -
